Southchase, UT to Payne Creek Stream Mitigation Project: 1200 linear feet of stream restoration with stormwater biorention wetlands. HARP personnel performed reference reach based design, regulatory permitting, construction oversight, construction contractor training, prepared the mitigation plan and monitoring plan and performed 4 years of mitigation monitoring. Annual mitigation monitoring includes channel stability analysis, longitudinal profile, cross-sections, vegetation plots and vegetation surveys, measurement of bankfull indicators, riparian vegetation surveys, and preparation of annual reports to USACE, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, Bureau of Water Pollution Control and client. Project close out expected spring 2012.
